Website design for community and small charities
What you do, how to get involved, and donation or contact routes that are obvious.
What you do, how to get involved, and how to donate or contact you should be obvious without a hunt through menus.
This is an illustration of the approach — not a template you pick from a menu. Every site starts blank after a conversation about how local groups, clubs, community organisations actually win work.
The process
- A proper conversation. Half an hour on the phone or a video call, free and with no obligation. I want to understand what your business does, who buys from you and what you want the website to bring in.
- A plan you sign off. I write up the structure page by page, what each page is there to do, and the fixed price. Nothing gets built until you have read it and agreed.
- Your design, from scratch. I draft your site around your services, your words and your branding. If you do not have branding yet, I will talk you through the options.
- Two rounds of your feedback. You get a link to the real site in your own browser. You tell me what to change, I refine it, and you look again. This is the part most website services skip.
- Launch, then a named person. I connect your domain, set up SSL and a hosting account, add analytics and the search basics, and put it live. After that you have someone to ring rather than a support form.
