Website Service Terms
How Website Build and Managed Website work is scoped and delivered. Last updated 19 August 2026.
These terms apply when you engage Two Wrens Limited (“I”, “me”) for a Your Website project. They sit alongside the written plan you sign off for that job. If the plan and these terms conflict on scope or price for your project, the plan wins for that project. The Terms of use cover this marketing site only.
Who you are contracting with
Two Wrens Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 09698581. Registered office: Ivy Cottage, Western Rd, Crediton, Devon, United Kingdom, EX17 3LT. Contact: hello@twowrens.co.uk.
How an engagement starts
A free discovery call does not create a paid contract. Paid work starts only when both of us have agreed a written plan (pages, price, what you will supply, and timeline) and you have confirmed you want to proceed. Prices shown on this site are invitations to treat, not offers capable of online acceptance.
Packages
Website Build
Headline price: £299 (one-off project fee, unless the plan says otherwise). Covers one call, a plan you sign off, up to five pages and two rounds of your feedback. I set up a hosting account for you at launch; the monthly hosting fee is paid by you to the host. After launch I aim to reply within two working days. You supply your logo, photographs and any wording you have.
Managed Website
Headline price: £150 setup + £19.99/month. Includes hosting, backups, security updates, up to 30 minutes of minor content changes a month and an annual review. I aim to reply the same working day, with site-down issues first. A 12-month minimum term applies.
Anything outside the agreed plan — extra pages, copywriting, ecommerce, third-party integrations, photography, or substantial redesign after the two feedback rounds — is quoted separately and only done when written into an updated plan.
What you supply
Unless the plan says otherwise, you supply your logo, photographs, and any wording you already have. Delays in providing those materials can push the launch date. I am not responsible for delays caused by waiting on your content or approvals.
Timeline
Typical delivery after the plan is signed is about 7–14 working days for the first draft cycle, with overall go-live commonly around two to three weeks from the first call when content and feedback arrive promptly. Dates in your plan are targets, not guaranteed completion dates, unless we expressly agree a fixed deadline in writing.
Feedback rounds
Website Build includes two rounds of your feedback on the real site in your browser. Feedback should be reasonably consolidated per round. Changes that rewrite the agreed plan (new sections, new pages, or a change of direction) are out of scope and need a revised quote.
Hosting
- Website Build: I set up a hosting account for you at launch. The ongoing monthly hosting fee is paid by you to the host.
- Managed Website: Hosting is included in the monthly fee for the term of the managed plan, along with backups and security updates as described in the plan.
Managed Website term and cancellation
Managed Website has a minimum term of 12 months from the start date in your plan. After the minimum term you may cancel by giving 30 days’ written notice (email is fine). Fees already paid for the minimum term are not refundable unless the plan says otherwise or the law requires it.
I may end a managed plan by giving 30 days’ written notice after the minimum term, or sooner if invoices remain unpaid after a reasonable reminder, or if continuing would break the law or my professional obligations.
Payment
Payment timing is set in your plan (for example deposit before design work, balance before launch, or setup fee plus monthly Direct Debit/card for Managed). Work may pause if payment is late. Prices are in GBP and exclusive of VAT if VAT becomes chargeable.
Ownership and intellectual property
When the project fee (and any agreed extras) for a Website Build is paid in full, you own the website design and content produced specifically for you under that plan, including the right to move it to another host. I retain ownership of my underlying tools, code libraries, processes and know-how, and a non-exclusive right to show the work (with sensitive details removed) as an example unless your plan says otherwise.
Materials you supply (logo, photos, copy) remain yours. You confirm you have the rights to use them and that instructing me to publish them will not infringe someone else’s rights.
Handover
On request at the end of a Managed Website plan, or after a completed Website Build, I will provide reasonable handover information so you or another supplier can take over hosting and day-to-day care — for example DNS/hosting access details you already own, and a short note of how the site is built. Handover does not include rebuilding the site on a different platform unless quoted separately.
Support after launch
- Website Build: I aim to reply within two working days to questions about the delivered site. Ongoing content changes, hosting management and proactive care are not included unless you move to Managed Website or we agree extra work.
- Managed Website: I aim to reply the same working day, with site-down issues first, within the monthly minor-change allowance in your plan.
Acceptable use and your legal duties
You are responsible for the legality of your business content (including claims, pricing, regulated advice, and privacy notices on your own live site). I build and host or hand over the technical site; I am not your solicitor, accountant or compliance officer.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, my total liability arising from a project is limited to the fees you paid for that project in the twelve months before the claim, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, except where the law does not allow that exclusion.
Privacy
How I handle personal data for enquiries and project work is described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
