How I work with you
Five steps, usually two to three weeks from our first call. I could go faster by handing you a template, but then it would not be your website.

A proper conversation
Half an hour on the phone or a video call, free and with no obligation. I want to understand what your business does, who buys from you and what you want the website to bring in.
Your part Half an hour, and an honest picture of how the business works.

A plan you sign off
I write up the structure page by page, what each page is there to do, and the fixed price. Nothing gets built until you have read it and agreed.
Your part Read it properly and tell me what I have misunderstood.

Your design, from scratch
I draft your site around your services, your words and your branding. If you do not have branding yet, I will talk you through the options.
Your part Your logo and photographs, plus any wording you already have.

Two rounds of your feedback
You get a link to the real site in your own browser. You tell me what to change, I refine it, and you look again. This is the part most website services skip.
Your part A careful look on your phone and your computer, and a list of changes.

Launch, then a named person
I connect your domain, set up SSL and a hosting account, add analytics and the search basics, and put it live. After that you have someone to ring rather than a support form.
Your part Say the word and I press the button.
What I will need from you
Not much, but the project moves at the speed of these. Being straight about it up front is why sites get finished.
- Half an hour for the first call, and a little time to read the plan
- Your logo and any photographs you would like used
- Any wording you already have, even if it is rough — I can help with the rest
- Access to your domain, or a decision to let me register one
- A proper look at each draft, and honest feedback
A short brief before the call helps — sites you like, colours, and what you want the website to do. The call still happens; this just means we are not starting from a blank page.
Once your content is with me, the build itself takes 7–14 working days. The rest of the time is the conversation and the feedback rounds, which is where the value is.
