Why I do it this way
Your Website is run by Two Wrens, a Devon technology business led by Benjamin Wren, based near Exeter. The day job is building software and ecommerce systems for larger organisations, which is where the standards come from.
Small businesses kept asking for the same thing: a decent website, without a five-figure agency quote and without being handed a template to finish themselves. Both of those routes fail for the same reason — nobody takes the time to understand the business first.
So that is what this service is. I spend half an hour learning how your business actually works before anything gets designed. I write the plan down so you can hold me to it. I draft the site from scratch, show it to you in your own browser, and change what you tell me to change. Twice.
I work from Devon. The Website Build is delivered by call and video for businesses in Exeter, across the county and the wider South West. If we agree further work later, in-person meetings can be arranged — travel within about an hour of Exeter is included.
It is slower than a template and cheaper than an agency, and one person is responsible for the whole thing from the first call to the phone call you make eighteen months later.
