Designed around you
Your site is drawn up from scratch for your services and your customers. Nothing is dropped into an off-the-shelf theme.
Your Website · A Two Wrens Product
I am based in Devon, near Exeter. Website design for small businesses in the city, across the county and the South West. I talk it through with you, draft the site from scratch, set everything up, and refine it with your feedback until it is right. After launch, I am the person you ring — not a ticket queue.
Website Build £299 One call, a plan you sign off, up to five pages and two rounds of feedback.
Your site is drawn up from scratch for your services and your customers. Nothing is dropped into an off-the-shelf theme.
I start with a call about your business, the customers you want more of and the enquiries you are missing.
You look at the real site in your own browser and tell me what to change. Twice, as standard.
Domain, SSL, hosting setup, analytics and the search basics are handled for you. Ongoing hosting sits with you on the build, or with me on the managed plan.
Questions and technical hiccups come straight to me. Website Build: reply within two working days. Managed: same working day, with outages first.

More about meWhat clients say
Brilliant service! I have used Two Wren's web services for many years and would highly recommend them.
Most small businesses I speak to have already tried once. Here is where it usually goes wrong.
The template looked finished in the advert. Yours is still half-built three months later.
Discovery workshops and brand strategy decks, when what you needed was five good pages.
Hosting, domains, SSL, redirects. None of it is your job, and all of it can go wrong.
Pages exist, but nothing guides a visitor towards actually getting in touch.
I take care of the thinking, the design and the technical work, so the only thing you have to do is tell me about your business and say what you think of the drafts.
Five steps, usually two to three weeks from our first call. It takes longer than a template because your opinion is part of the process.
Half an hour on the phone or a video call, free and with no obligation. I want to understand what your business does, who buys from you and what you want the website to bring in.
Your part Half an hour, and an honest picture of how the business works.
I write up the structure page by page, what each page is there to do, and the fixed price. Nothing gets built until you have read it and agreed.
Your part Read it properly and tell me what I have misunderstood.
I draft your site around your services, your words and your branding. If you do not have branding yet, I will talk you through the options.
Your part Your logo and photographs, plus any wording you already have.
You get a link to the real site in your own browser. You tell me what to change, I refine it, and you look again. This is the part most website services skip.
Your part A careful look on your phone and your computer, and a list of changes.
I connect your domain, set up SSL and a hosting account, add analytics and the search basics, and put it live. After that you have someone to ring rather than a support form.
Your part Say the word and I press the button.
How the work feels
Your site starts from how your business actually runs — then I refine it until it looks and reads like you.
Illustrations of the approach — not a portfolio of finished builds, and not designs you choose from. Every site starts blank and gets built around what your business needs to say.
Local coverage made obvious, proof of past jobs, and a quote request that reaches your phone.
A calm, credible first impression, clear explanations of each treatment, and easy booking.
Authority without jargon, the sectors you serve, and a route to a first conversation.
Your work shown properly on every screen size, with pricing and availability up front.
Where you are, when you are open, what you stock, and why people should come to you.
Menus and rooms that read well on a phone, plus bookings and directions in a tap.
Website Build
£299
Covers one call, a plan you sign off, up to five pages and two rounds of your feedback. I set up a hosting account for you at launch; the monthly hosting fee is paid by you to the host. After launch I aim to reply within two working days. You supply your logo, photographs and any wording you have.
Prefer someone to look after it afterwards? The managed plan is £150 setup + £19.99/month.
I would rather tell you now than take a job that was never going to suit you.
Straight answers before you give me half an hour.
No. I start with a conversation about your business, then draft a design for it from scratch. The sectors on this site show the kinds of businesses I work with, not designs you pick from a menu.
A free 30-minute call, a written plan you sign off, a design drafted for your business, up to five core pages, two rounds of your feedback, mobile-responsive layout, contact form, basic search-engine and analytics setup, domain connection, SSL, a hosting account set up for you, and launch support. The monthly hosting fee after that is paid by you to the host. You supply your logo, photographs and any wording you already have.
Because the standard website is a clear piece of work: one call, one design, five pages and two rounds of feedback. That is what the £299 covers. If you later want more pages, copywriting or ecommerce, I quote that separately before any of it starts — never as a surprise on the invoice.
Half an hour for the first call, your logo and photographs, any wording you already have, and a careful look at each draft. If you do not have wording, I can write it as an add-on.
Usually two to three weeks from the first call. It is not instant, because the feedback rounds are the part that makes the site yours.
I set up a hosting account for you as part of the build and put the site live. The monthly hosting charge after that is yours — you pay the host directly. If you would rather hosting, backups, ongoing care and same working day replies sit with me, that is the Managed Website plan at £150 setup plus £19.99 a month.
The Website Build is a one-off project fee, plus whatever your host charges each month once the site is live. The Managed Website plan is £150 setup plus £19.99 a month for a minimum of 12 months, and that monthly fee includes hosting, backups, security updates, minor content changes and same working day replies.
On Website Build I aim to reply within two working days. On Managed Website I aim for the same working day, and if the site is down that comes first. Either way you deal with me directly — no ticket queue.
Yes. I can connect a domain you already own, or help you register a new one.
You own your content and branding. The arrangement for the site files and hosting is set out in the Website Service Terms.
Half an hour on the phone, free, and no obligation at the end of it. If I am not the right person for the job I will say so.
